“To Hold Hope” - Monica Jacobson-Tennessen
“Hope” can feel elusive in times like these. The words of Mariame Kaba remind me that hope is not simply a feeling we have, it’s a practice we commit to. In this service, we’ll consider some ways to help each other practice hope.

In July, services will begin at 10:30 am instead of 10:00 am. The Zoom link will be different each week, so be sure to check the announcements for the link. There will be no coffee service or childcare to give volunteers a break. We also encourage people to have their own watch party to gather with others to watch the service together.
Volunteer Appreciation!
Please add your thank you notes and appreciation for all the wonderful volunteers who have contributed to this last congregational program year. You can add your notes of appreciation to a Jamboard here.
Or, if you prefer just email your note of appreciation to Rev Sara and she will add it to the final display.

OUUC is Accepting Applications for a Tech & Communications Specialist
We have been so fortunate to have Jo Sahlin serve as OUUC’s first Media Specialist these past two years. We’ve all learned a lot and Jo has led the way in helping support our virtual ministry. Thank you, Jo!
Jo has let us know that ze is seeking a full-time position, so expects to be leaving OUUC. There is no set date yet, and we are planning for transition by the end of July.
So, OUUC is accepting applications for a half-time Tech & Communications Coordinator. I have updated the job description and name of this position to reflect what we know now. You can find the job description here.
Please share this information widely and invite anyone who might be interested to apply. We found Jo through an OUUC congregant, so we know word of mouth is the best recruiter.
Thank you, Jo, for helping us define and develop OUUC’s virtual ministry!
And thank you all for spreading the word about this position.
Rev. Mary, Minister@ouuc.org
