TITLE I SCHOOL STATUS
Weaverville Elementary is proud to be a Title 1 School! Our school receives extra federal funding that pays for a Reading Specialist, three instructional assistants, professional learning opportunities for teachers, resources, some of our Leader in Me costs and much more!
We need to increase our percentage of students who qualify for Free and Reduced lunch or we face the possibility of losing this funding. Currently we have 191 families who have not applied but we often have families who owe money in the school cafeteria. Please consider applying! This is completely confidential! If you need assistance with applying, we will be happy to help!
Our Free Reduced Lunch percentage is 37.9% and we need to be at least 40% to maintain our Title 1 program.
