Crohn’s Disease
Crohn’s Disease causes inflammation of the digestive tract. This disease can also be called Ileitis or Enteritis. It can affect any part of the gut from the mouth all the way down to the anus. The lower part of the small intestine is the body part that is mostly affected in these cases. The intestines clear out a lot which results in diarrhea. Gastroenterologists are known for treating people with this disease. You must have your bachelor's and medical degree in order to become a Gastroenterologist. An average of 13-14 years is taken to become one. You can volunteer at local hospitals or clinics. A college you can attend to achieve this career goal is The American College of Gastroenterology. They can have their own team of doctors, they do not do surgeries, and they diagnose and treat the diseases. I would not like to pursue in this topic because I don't want to deal with any disease in the digestive system. Gastroenterologists average annual pay is $303,000.
