TVUSD Reopening of Schools UPDATE

All plans and models are pending negotiations with TVUSD labor associations. All plans and models continue to be contingent upon requirements from state or local authorizing agencies that are in place at the time school starts on August 12, 2020.

On Tuesday, June 9, 2020, the Board of Education approved three (3) learning models for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. The programs offered will include a traditional, online, and blended model. Staffing and master schedules are driven by student enrollment, therefore, we need parents/guardians to select their preliminary preferred learning model for each of their students based on the information we have at this time.
After you review the information in the newsletter, please scroll to the bottom to complete and submit your learning model preference for each of your children by Monday, June 29, 2020.

To assist with the many questions that you may have we have prepared some preliminary frequently asked questions (FAQ) documents for your reference. We will continue to update as new information is available. To make it easier for review, all information regarding timelines and safety protocols are included in each FAQ, so you only need to review the model FAQ below that you are interested in.

PLEASE SUBMIT BY MONDAY, JUNE 29, 2020
IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU BEGIN - PLEASE COMPLETE ONLY ONE SURVEY FOR EACH STUDENT. Families are asked to consult with each other and have only one primary parent/guardian complete the preferred model survey for each of your child(ren). You will need to complete a separate survey for each of your children.
Information you will need to have to complete your preference model for each student:
- Student date of birth
- Student TVUSD ID Number# - this is an 8 to 10 digit number that students use to access their learning programs. It is available in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Below is a graphic to assist you with locating it.
