Hillcrest Family Newsletter

You didn't have to...
We can't tell you how much it means to have so many people reach out with notes, flowers, gifts and FOOD throughout this week. We feel LOVED and APPRECIATED and we are so grateful for you all.
Thank you to Angela Paap for her work to coordinate all of the staff appreciation pieces. Thank you to Jackie Boehringer to came back to help and her friend, ..., for volunteering as well. Jacqueline Pludeman, Andy Paap, Nicole Grisar and Nicole Zeroth all stepped in to help out in so many ways.
We had a whole team of volunteers who supervised the playground duty so the staff could eat lunch together and countless families who donated items throughout the week.
This year's meals were sponsored by: Goddess and the Baker, Einstein Bagels, Sendak’s, Target, Olive Garden, Café Hollander, Texas Road House.
We love what we do and it is because of you!

Applications are now available to receive a free school backpack and school supplies for the 2019-2020 school year. Many but not all items per the school’s supply list will be included. Students in the Waukesha School district that meet the qualification requirements (listed below) are eligible to apply.

Safe Arrival - Available Now!
1) By far the easiest way to interact with the new system is by downloading the app on your phone and signing up for an account.
2) If you are not an app user and prefer to use your computer signup and login at https://go.schoolmessenger.com/
3) The phone option is still available by calling the attendance line at school. There will be a menu there to transfer your call into the new system. You may however, want to use the direct number 1-866-490-7371. By dialing direct from a phone that is registered with the district, the system should recognize the number you are calling from and be able to quickly identify your children and allow you to confirm their absence.
