Alhambra Latino Association Scholarship

The Alhambra Latino Association (ALA) is offering a total of five $1,000 scholarships for graduating seniors who will be enrolled in a post-secondary institution during Fall 2021.

One scholarship winner will be selected from each: AHS, IHS, MKHS, SGHS and the BOLD Academy. Applicants are asked to submit an essay, unofficial transcript, and a letter of recommendation.

Due Date: Friday, March 5, 2021 at 3 p.m.

Asian American Association Scholarship

Open to ALL eligible Alhambra Unified School District seniors. One winner will be selected from each high school within our district: Alhambra HS, Independence HS, Mark Keppel HS, & San Gabriel HS


All seniors who will be enrolled in a post-secondary institution Fall 2021 are eligible for this scholarship. Students must present proof of registration at an educational institution after graduating from high school.

ESSAY PROMPT: What are your future plans/career goals? How will this scholarship help you towards achieving your goals?

Due Date: Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.

Notification of Recipient: no later than February 12, 2021

Asian Youth Center are recruiting students for our Leadership Development Internship

Topics include: Racial, Gender & Social Justice, Immigrant’s Rights, Healthy Relationships,

Affordable Housing, Meeting Facilitation and developing a Service-Learning Project to help your community.

There are 20 PAID internship opportunities if you enroll in December 2020. Internship will be from December 2020 – May 2021.
