Sport Principles
Specifity. Means that training programmes must be specify and accurate to the necessity of the performer.
Progression. To continue developing, the routine must be harder progressively, overload is essential to adapt and change, but when your body adapts to it no more changhes will happen.
Overload. Body must work harder than normally does, overloading can be produced by five factors of training called FITTA (Frequency, Intensity, Time, Type and Adherence).
Reversibility. A body has to stay continiously doing sport to gain fitness, if you stop you can lose it, so it takes much longer to gain fitness that it does to lose it.
Tedium. The trainig has to be varied to keep the performer's motivation, if a training is performed frequently it will be monotonous and boring for the athlete.
