Our Barons Visited Genech, France
Our Barons just returned from an incredible exchange with a new high school in northern France, the Institut de Genech near Lille, on the border with Belgium. Genech is the oldest (opened in 1894), largest and most prestigious agricultural careers school in France offering over 80 different degrees and diplomas, educating students from the 8th grade to AAs and Bachelors’ degrees. It is a formidable school with three campuses, thousands of students and hundreds of personnel. Studying there was a unique and exceptional educational experience and achievement for our students. They attended rigorous academic classes in French and participated in some of their award winning animal science programs specializing in farm animals, exotic animals, laboratory animals and pets, equestrian science, dairy science, etc. The school is similar to a Cal Poly university than a high school and our students were awed by the variety and rigor of their programs. We have thousands of photos and videos that we can share!
