Happy Wednesday Families! Thank you to all of you who have been dropping off and picking students up on time.
It was so wonderful to celebrate our Students of the Month for August/September on Monday. Each student received gold coins to put into our new Book Vending machine. Below are some pictures from the day.
ELAC is tomorrow. Students will bring home a reminder note with a lollypop which includes the meeting ID and Passcode as well as a QR code that you can scan with your phone or device to join the meeting.

Each California public school with 21 or more English learners must form an English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC).
The ELAC shall be responsible for the following tasks:
- Advising the principal and staff in the development of a site plan for English learners and submitting the plan to the School Site Council for consideration of inclusion in the School Plan for Student Achievement.
- Assisting in the development of the schoolwide needs assessment.
- Ways to make parents aware of the importance of regular school attendance.

Important COVID reminders
Masks must be worn on campus. Please send your student in a mask, and if you are walking on school property you must wear a mask as well regardless if you are vaccinated. We will have extra masks if they forget or if theirs gets broken throughout the day. This is to keep all of our students and staff safe. Please send your student with a water bottle to limit touching high touch surfaces.
Please do not send your student to school if they are exhibiting any of the following symptoms;
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
