What We Are Doing This Week
Reading:
Roses are red, violets are blue. Sugar is sweet, and so are you.
Today we start looking a poetry. This week the students will be writing two different poems. Acrostic - Uses the letters in the topic word to begin each line. All lines of the poem should relate to the topic.
ex. Cuddly

The ruler of the house
Diamante Poem - Does not have to rhyme
In the shape of a diamond
Each line starts with a capital
