April is here! We have two months left of this school year. It has gone by so fast and we have done a lot of learning. We still have a lot of learning to go. Hope everyone is ready!

What We Are Doing This Week


Roses are red, violets are blue. Sugar is sweet, and so are you.

Today we start looking a poetry. This week the students will be writing two different poems. Acrostic - Uses the letters in the topic word to begin each line. All lines of the poem should relate to the topic.

ex. Cuddly

The ruler of the house

Diamante Poem - Does not have to rhyme

In the shape of a diamond

Each line starts with a capital
