Letter From The CEO:
Hello Everyone,
Our theme for this fall is Strong Communities and Families. We’ll tackle some tough subjects together, including end of life planning and preparing for emergencies. We’ll kick off the theme this month at our Food for Thoughts breakfast and dinner, where the topic will be Planning Ahead: Quality of Life. Check out our full list of classes and events to see how we’re helping you plan for resilience.
Book Clubs and other events return to the lineup this month. Our regular book club will meet on September 28 to discuss American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins. Our Compelling Issues book club will meet on September 21 to discuss Invisible Women: Data Bias in a World Designed for Men by Caroline Criado Perez. We’ll have discussions at both 1:30 and 6:30 p.m., so pick the time that works best for you.
Drop-In Knit and Crochet afternoons are back, as is Writers’ Group on Monday mornings. And for the kids, don’t forget that storytime happens both Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:30 each week.
Please note that the library, as always, follows whatever public health orders are put in place by the county or state health departments. As of this writing, Larimer County Public Health strongly recommends, but does not require, face masks in indoor public places.
Come see us—we’re here to help!
Amie P.
