Environmental Learning Grades 4-8
As an extension of “Weaving Aboriginal Worldviews and Perspectives into the Classroom”, Sierra Club BC is teaming up with our school district to offer two after-school sessions on environmental learning. The sessions will focus on cross-curricular connections in literacy, science and social studies.
Session 1: Learning Outdoors with Intermediate and Middle School Students
Lisa Dumoulin, Education Program Coordinator for Sierra Club of BC, will guide participants through effective structures and strategies for taking intermediate and middle students to learn outdoors. Come prepared for an outdoor session - rain or shine!
