Whats Going on in March
Farm Tractor Show
Farm and Tractor Show
March holds some exciting events for our youth department. The first of which is the 11th annual farm toy show held at the Windmill Acres park in Winston Salem. IMPACT Student Ministries have been asked to sell concessions at this event and all proceeds will go to our youth department. We are asking for student volunteers to help hand out food, promote the event and, positively represent our youth department. We will be taking the van for those who would like to ride. it will be leaving the church at 5:00 PM sharp on Friday and returning around 10:00 PM on Friday and leaving at 8:00 AM and returning around 5:00 on Saturday. Please email Bro. Neal Gruer at ngruer@gmail.com to signup for a time slot to ensure our youth are represented. We appreciate and look forward to everyone's help in this event as we IMPACT our community.
Junior and Teen Talent
Junior and Teen Talent
We are a blessed church! To look around at the many youth and the verity of talents they all possess will cause you to praise God for His abundant blessing. Our young people have the opportunity to display these talents on a state Church of God level! Our student ministries will be competing in several individual categories as well as a large jr choir and a teen human video/pantomime. Our youth are working daily to hone their abilities in order to perform with excellence in the categories they have entered. We ask for your continued prayer and support as this anticipated time nears.

Here's a Reflection of What's Going on in the IMPACT Youth Ministries
A look back at February
This has been an exciting month for IMPACT Student Ministries! From our exciting Incredible faith Kids church curriculum to the extremely successful canned food drive to, the fun-filled, action-packed game night and lock-in. Heres a look at whats to come!
INCREDABLE FAITH
This month we also started a new Curriculum intitled INCREDIBLE FAITH. In this unit, the Bible characters become superheroes and demonstrate their incredible faith to our students. Through weekly skits, lessons, songs, and games; bible characters are brought to life before our very eyes, inspiring students that what's incredible about our beloved bible heroes was not the characters themselves but, the faith that they had in God. To be apart come by our Kids church every Sunday morning at 11:00 (unless otherwise posted) to join in this truly incredible program. We are four weeks into this twelve-week unit and are excited to see all that God has in store!

Teen Lock-In
This February, we hosted an event designed to provide students with the environment to build relationships with each other and our church leadership. As we gathered together for food, games, devotions and a movie, students gathered together for a night they won't soon forget. No doubt, the memories and relationships built will last a lifetime!

Game Night
I'm sure we all can look back to a distant memory of a night spent with the family playing board games. There's nothing like rolling the dice in Monopoly or getting your piece around the Sory board. The time spent with family and friends will never be wasted. That was the idea behind this special game night. Our Trail Blazers came and served ice cream while our students and leaders played to their heart's content. These relationships will no doubt last a lifetime!
Can Food Drive
The whole month of February, the trailblazers and the IMPACT youth worked together to reach a 1000 can goal to donate to the Christian United Outreach Center here in Asheboro. Our students brought in can food to Sunday school, Kids Church and, Wednesday night service in order to reach this lofty goal. Together we not only reached but, SHATTERED our goal by bringing in 1237 cans, a whopping 1300 LBS of food total! This was a HUGE SUCCESS for our church. A need was brought forth, and our individual ministries lived up to their titles. our seniors blazed a trail and our youth made an IMPACT!
