The TIGER Times
Yamhill Carlton High School
Week of June 10-12, 2019
It feels like just yesterday I was introducing myself to you as your interim principal and here we are in the final week of the school year. Thank you for welcoming me into your lovely community and making me feel right at home. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at YCHS. Clint Raever, next year's principal, and I have been in communication and I know your students are in excellent hands moving forward. Have a great summer!

Congratulations to the Class of 2019
YCHS Summer School
The YC Summer School Program is designed for students to make up classes, which have been taken and failed during the regular school year. Courses are available in syllabus/packet form, or through an accredited online program (Edgenuity). The number of classes completed is up to the individual student. Most students complete one course during summer term. Occasionally, students complete two or more. This is an exception, requiring considerable time and effort on the student’s part.
Students primarily work independently from home. Attendance at school is not required.
When: June 17th – August 9th
Times: Students can log into online courses any time, day or night, to work on courses, using computer, tablet or smartphone (though tablets and phones don’t always allow a full view or all of the links). Ms Watson and Ms Dehm will check students’ work daily to answer questions and allow tests or quizzes to be taken or retaken.
Office Hours: Ms. Dehm (rm 102) and Ms Watson (rm 315) will be available each Wednesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, for students who have questions, need additional help or want to turn in hard copies of work.
The application form is available below.
