Tiger Telegram
11/20/2020
Dear Families,
A reminder that we only have school on Monday-Tuesday next week as we will be observing Thanksgiving Break 11/25-11/27. We wish you and your family and loved ones a safe and healthy Thanksgiving! There will be no Tiger Telegram next week. The schedule the week of the 30th is A-B-B-A-B.
If your home or health situation has changed and you would like to keep your student in online/distance learning through the end of the semester, simply letting teachers know they will be online is not sufficient. These requests need to be made with the front office staff. Students who are enrolled for in-person learning need to have accurate in-person attendance taken, and for this reason, students who are enrolled in-person will be marked absent if they are not physically at school.
If you have any active cases of COVID in your home, are waiting for test results, or anyone in your home has become symptomatic, we are asking you to please contact the front office in a timely manner. The front office staff will indicate the necessary attendance measures with the teachers. Thank you for your attention to this and for actively communicating with us so that we can keep all of our students and staff healthy and safe.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me at calvarado@musd20.org.
Thank you,
Carlos Alvarado
