Internship Duration: August/September 2019 through August 2020
The Business Affairs Intern will report to the Director of Digital Strategy and Content and assist with the following core functions – Broadcast, Digital, and Partnerships. Structured as a 12-month rotational program, the role will focus on each core function at four (4) month intervals, with dotted-line reporting to the Manager of Business Affairs, Director of Digital Strategy and Content, and Director of Partnerships.

Now Hiring - Summer Interns at Emory University School of Medicine
The Liang Laboratory in the Department of Biochemistry at Emory University School of Medicine is currently recruiting summer interns. Dr. Liang's laboratory focuses on the mechanistic studies of macromolecular machinery and traditionally challenging biological systems using cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM), the technology that won the 2017 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Emory just established a new state-of-the-art cryo-EM core facility, which is the first single particle cryo-EM core in the state of Georgia, and the Liang laboratory is next to the core.
The program will emphasize the training of scientific research to enrich your science and engineering background. Both undergraduate and graduate level students can apply. You will be working under the guidance of experienced postdoctoral fellows, and we will have regular meetings to review your experience and present your work. The internship is unpaid.

The Division of Development and Alumni Relations must communicate broadly and frequently with its alumni and donors in order to meet engagement and fundraising goals.
This position will focus mostly on the UGA Alumni social media channels, managing the content calendar and publishing through appropriate channels (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.). S/he will track appropriate conversations and engage in real-time with UGA alumni. S/he will be responsible for pulling reports, analyzing results and making recommendations for future content and posts.

This workshop is open to first- and second-year students exploring majors at UGA. If you are an undecided third or fourth-year student, please call the Career Center to make an appointment with a Career Consultant – 706-542-3375.
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING A LAPTOP or TABLET IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE.
In this workshop, you will learn:
• Online resources that help you navigate the exploration process
• Your areas of interest and how they connect to majors
• Common major and career myths
• How to create an action plan to move forward
This workshop is limited to 25 people per session and pre-registration is required. Students can attend ONE Explore Lab for Arch Ready credit.
Pre-Health Personal Statement Writing Lab

If you're applying to OT, PT, PA, medical, dental, or any health profession school, it's time to start thinking about writing your personal statement. In this small group session, we'll discuss what admissions committees look for in personal statements and go over techniques to improve your writing skills. You'll walk away with tangible resources to help you begin or improve your personal statement. Bring a pen or your laptop and be ready to write.
Labs are limited to 25 students; must register in advance on Handshake to attend.
Arch Ready: Adulting 101

In this workshop, you will learn how to:
- Identify and articulate the differences and similarities between the college environment and the work environment
- Identify strategies to successfully begin your professional career
- Identify tips and resources to help transition into living in the “real world”
