February will be an exciting month at Grant. We have our Valentine's Day class parties on the 14th, we will kick off our One School, One Book Campaign & the Scholastic Book Fair on February 26th and we have Open House on the 29th! Please see the information flyers below for more details.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FOR 24-25!
Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year is open. Children are eligible if they are five years old on or before August 1, 2024. If you register prior to June 1st, your child will receive a welcome gift from their school!
Parents and Guardians can visit the registration website to complete the online registration forms:

Kindergarten Registration 2024-2025 Flyer This flyer contains important information and phone numbers that will be helpful.
Please call your elementary school or the Central Registration office if you have questions, or if you need to make an appointment for help with documentation.
If your child currently attends the W-E Preschool, you do not need to register them. Please inform the preschool that your child will attend kindergarten in the district next year.
We look forward to welcoming our new kindergarten students and their families to the school district!

Many of our classes made musical instruments in our last STEM Challenge and our supplies are running LOW! We are in need of the following donations:
- tissue boxes
- plastic containers from Play Dough, yogurt, or similar
- balloons 12" or more in diameter
- food boxes
- cardboard rolls from wrapping paper or similar

Please support the Grant Elementary Parent Teacher Organization! The PTO is a wonderful organization and it’s a great way to be involved in your child’s school experience. The PTO will usually meet at 6:30 PM on the second Wednesday of every month in the Grant Library. A welcome packet will be mailed home soon, so be on the lookout for more information. Every Grant Family is a welcome member of the PTO, so please plan on joining us!

Are you looking for activities for your children? Interested in family programs in the community? There are so many options for Willoughby-Eastlake families, such as city departments of recreation, sports teams, scouting, camps and special events in all of our surrounding communities, plus so much more!
Information from approved organizations who host activities for Willoughby-Eastlake youth and the community are posted electronically. Paper flyers from organizations are not sent home with students.
