Keeping Up With The Kennedy

May 24, 2020- Issue 36

Good Evening Families

Happy Memorial Day Weekend. I know this holiday weekend may look and feel different, based on the new normal we are all faced with, however, I hope the extended weekend provides everyone with an opportunity to relax and safely enjoy some time outdoors!

Staff, students, and families continue to do an outstanding job with remote learning opportunities. We know that as the weather gets warmer it can be difficult to remain focused on school expectations. We are approaching the finish line for the 2019-20 school year. Please continue to reach out if you have questions or let us know what we can do to support you in finishing the year strong. You're doing great...stick with it!

Hello JFK Families!

It has been a wonderful week of musical listening for us as we have been working our way through student submissions from our "Spread the Joy!" assignment. During week 8 of virtual learning, students were asked to turn on their favorite song and jam out! A song that makes them want to dance, a song that makes them want to sing, a song they can shred on an air guitar, anything that makes them happy! There was an incredible variety of submissions and we wanted to share with the community. The link below is a google slideshow containing 30+ songs suggested by our JFK students! While it is just a small selection of music, we thought it would be a fun way to spread a little extra joy during this season.
