Imperial units are units of measurements like pints and yards they are another way of measuring things such as grams and litres.

Why do we use imperial units?

We use imperial units to give people more than one choice on how they want to measure things in life. say for instance the pool is 4.57 metres deep you change it to the pool depth is 5 yards away.

When do we use imperial units?

We use imperial units when we are baking a cake because in the recipe book you are given metric units or imperial units. You can use it for driving to say it is 50 miles to London or we are 17 miles from Guildford.
