Tin Pan Alley is the birth place of music such as jazz in the nineteen twenties and nineteen thirties.



Jazz since the lifestyle of most people in the 1920s. It was the way the wealthy and upper middle class lived out there life's. It represented freedom and being wild. In this time people lived life to the fullest by partying and being crazy. Swing jazz was another big thing that came from Tin Pan Alley and with this type of music came the Charleston. African American culture grew in this time to because they came up with the sweet blues. It's was a slower type of music. It was calm and typically sad.
