Dear Everitt Families:
Holy Guacamole...
We are grateful to be putting this year to bet. Thank you SO MUCH for your flexibility, understanding, and support through this-- the toughest school year any of us has ever experienced.
But truly-- the heroes of this year are our kids. They have shown resilience and a new kindness that I hope we help them carry into what can be a new and better normal. Please reiterate to them just how proud we are of them for getting themselves and each other through these past months.
Below, you will find the links to our recorded end of year celebrations. Please share them with anyone who may have missed them.
Have a safe and happy summer, and as always, thank you for believing in the power of neighborhood schools to bring our communities together, and thank you for sharing your kids with us; it is our honor to serve them.

Secondary Math Summer Learning Supports for Students
The menus linked for each grade level address major math content learned at each grade level, 6th grade - Algebra 2. Each menu could be used to solidify grade level learning, identify and address learning gaps, and reflect on a student’s mathematical learning.
Students: Choose the menu that reflects the major math content that you learned during the 2020-21 school year by completing activities in each menu category: Appetizer, Main Course, and Dessert.
Teachers and Families: Students choose learning from each section of the menu: Appetizer, Main Course, and Dessert.
Appetizers may include framing your mindset, puzzles, or problem solving.
Main Courses include major content
Desserts may include extensions, and problem solving.
You might “assign” a specific number of activities to complete for each section, or allow students to choose their own adventure.
