ABOUT ME
Meet Shane Nauss, our new NPSS School Psychologist! He will be taking over for Karen Sternat who will be retiring in January.
Shane graduated from DeSales University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Psychology. He earned his graduate degree in Counseling and School Psychology from Immaculata University. After graduate school, Shane returned to the Lehigh Valley to take a position as a School Psychologist at our IU. His expertise is in mental health, education, and behavior to help children and adolescents succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. He currently provides services to students with developmental disabilities in the IU's Autistic Support program.
Beyond his work in Autistic Support, Shane also works with students suffering from Traumatic Brain Injuries. He is a member of the IU's Crisis Response Flight Team. In addition to his position as a School Psychologist, Shane is an adjunct professor of human development and other psychology at DeSales University.
Shane currently resides in Nazareth. He enjoys running, golfing, and traveling with friends. He is excited to a be new member of the NPSS team and is eager to collaborate and make new connections. He is set to begin working with us on March 12, 2018.
