In an effort to ensure the safety of all students, please refrain from checking your child out or making dismissal changes after 2:00pm. Our transportation notes are sent out to teachers at 2:00pm, and it is important that our front office and vestibule are clear as we prepare for dismissal.

School Meals...

Lamar CISD has announced its participation in the Seamless Summer Option for the 2021-2022 school year, offering healthy meals every school day to all students at no cost.

Typically, a student’s household must meet income eligibility requirements to qualify for free or reduced-price meals. However, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued guidance that allows schools to offer meals to all students at no cost for the 2021-2022 school year.

While no application or eligibility determination is required for our students to receive free meals this school year, income eligibility requirements will likely resume in the 2022-2023 school year.

Extra lunch entrees and a la carte items are not included with the no cost meals.
