1. Body Boundaries informational parent meeting is scheduled to be held at JB Stephens Elementary School on Monday, Dec. 17, @ 7:00pm. The Body Boundaries program for students is scheduled at Weston Elementary on Tuesday, March 5th. (See the attached letter for more information.)

2. We have finished our Middle of the Year assessments for grades K-10 in GCSC. Our students completed Reading, Math, and Language Arts assessments through NWEA. We have a LOT to celebrate . . . . many of our students have met or exceeded their “Growth Goals” for one (or all) of these assessments! Students will be recognized week for their success! Extra Recess, Brag Tags, Photos, and more! The list of students will be shared in next week’s Top Ten. We still had students finishing make-up tests today. Go to this link to learn more about NWEA.

3. Mark your calendar for our 3rd Grade Music Program on Wednesday, December the 19th @ 6:30 in our gym! All students will see the performance during the school day at their “Dress Rehearsal”.

4. Greenfield-Central will be making up the November 15th school closure on January 21st as a scheduled eLearning Day. More information to come.

5. Chocolate Sale Winners celebrated today! Mrs. Linder’s class received a 5lb. Chocolate Bar for raising the most combined money! Kourtney Golden was our Top Seller and Gabrielle Nicole was randomly drawn to be both receive a 1lb. Chocolate Bar.

6. We have a LOT of fun activities planned for next week. Check out our Reindeer Schedule below.

7. Congratulations to Terry Miller! Last night she received the Service to Mankind award from our local Sertoma Club. Photo below.

9. Friday, December 17th is the end of our 1st Semester. Winter Break is December 24 - January 4th. School resumes on January 7th.

10. SCHOOL SAFETY - As you might be aware there was another safety concern that took place in an Indiana public school yesterday (Richmond Community Schools).

Safety is of the highest priority for the staff at Weston Elementary and the entire Greenfield-Central Community Schools.
