Week 3 Term 3
A busy week
We began our science unit 'All Mixed Up' this week and with thanks to Miss Mcgregor we experimented with mixing various items. This culminated on Friday with all children involved in making delicious Anzac biscuits. Miss Mcgregor will return for the last 4 weeks of term.
Apologies for the absence of home readers these last few days a stocktake has been taking place. Children can read either books from home or the library.

Ethics note
Children taking Primary Ethics classes need to discuss their behavioural expectations in with parents and return a signed for.
Australian Celebrations
We began this week looking at Australian celebrations, in particular Australia Day. Our art lesson this week looked at the work of the Australian artist Fred Williams. I think the class have done an excellent job of creating their own Australian landscapes inspired by the work of Fred Williams. Feel free to come in and have a look.
Experimenting with gouche
The class did an excellent job with their paintings - using gouche for the first time.
