Message from Principal Paige

Hello from ACMA May 2021

A Successful May Fourth!

Thank you to students, staff and especially to the National Honor Society for making "May The Fourth Be With You" such a fun event! Many young Jedi were seen defending their school.

Buying a Yearbook this year looks a lot different!

Four important things to know:

1. Yearbooks can be purchased for $50 through the BSD payment portal. The buying process is not straightforward; follow the steps in this video to place your order:

https://youtu.be/kqoYcRGRn4o

2. Only those who have purchased a book ahead of time will receive a 2021 yearbook. There will be NO extra copies to purchase on distribution day. Plan ahead and purchase your book now. Sales end May 27th. This is a hard deadline that will not be extended.

3. The 2020 book has been called the best yearbook ACMA has ever published! It's a shame we couldn't celebrate with our regular distribution day festivities. Many families did not purchase a copy and we'd like to give you a chance to do so. The book is available for $50 -or- through a BOGO offer! Buy the 2021 yearbook for $50 and you can purchase the 2020 book for $25. To take advantage of this offer, email our bookkeeper (linda_panagopoulos@beaverton.k12.or.us). This offer stands for those who have already purchased their copy of the 2021 yearbook.

4. 2021 yearbooks will be distributed in the fall at ACMA's Registration Day.

We Love Our Seniors!

The ACMA PTO is excited to announce next month ACMA families and fans will have the opportunity to participate in our one and only big fundraiser for the 2020-21 school year. This year we will be featuring an online auction full of goodies to appease a variety of interests. Whether you are looking to restock your game closet, get away for a weekend adventure, pamper yourself with a relaxing spa day, or spoil your pet, there is something for everyone. The auction will start on May 16th; however, you'll be able to get a sneak peak of some of the baskets earlier. Check out acmapto.com/auction to get a preview of some of the baskets and get ready to treat yourself, your pet, your kids or get away with friends!

Parent Equity Team - May 19th at 9am

At ACMA we have a Student Equity Team, a Staff Equity Team, and a Parent Equity Team. Each meet separately on a regular basis and together more quarterly. Our next meeting of the Parent Equity Team will be Wednesday, 5/19, from 9-10 am. A zoom link will be shared through email before that meeting.

Our topics of discussion will include how we can ensure that our new campus (where we'll be welcoming students in the fall of 2021) is welcoming to all students and how we can support our students and staff in making ACMA a place where everyone can see themselves reflected in who we are.
