Integration ideas and tips on tech tools
Kinder-Research Projects
Kinder teachers, looking for a fun interactive way to engage your students in their next Writing unit. Check out these easy to follow research topics in Seesaw! (Click the pics below to check out them out).
1st Grade-Poetry Slam!
Completing that poetry unit? What better way to celebrate then to allow students to read them in a creative way! Have students draw in illustration to match their poem then snap a picture of it in Chatterpix! Then students can record themselves reciting their poem! Then share with parents on Seesaw. Need some help? I can show you how.
2nd Grade-Author's Study!
Starting an author's study unit!? Have students create book talks in Flip! Students can feature an author and discuss details about a book they read. Then allow students to explore each others book talks to help widen their literacy palette. Want some help trying this out, I'd love to help! (Click on the pic for the topic link).
3rd Grade-Measurement Breakout EDU
Looking for an engaging way to close out your measurement unit, try Breakout EDU! Kids love trying to figure out the puzzles to "Breakout". In this game students practice elapsed time, weight, and capacity! What are Breakout boxes? They are boxes with locks attached, students look for clues in the puzzles to unlock the locks and break open the box! Think escape rooms for kids. If you would like to try this without the boxes, I can turn this into a digital game. (Click on the pic to view the puzzles).
Ready to try this out in your classroom, make an appointment with me and I'd love to help!
4th Grade-Lines and Angles
Have you ever tried Ozobots? Did you know every campus has 12? Check out this Ozobots lesson, students program their Ozobots according to the task cards. Then they trace the path of the Ozobots to determine the angles. (Click on the pic for the lesson).
5th Grade-Weather and Climate
Want to make your weather and climate unit more engaging? Try exploring the weather and climates in Minecraft Education! Students explore climate changes and how they impact life within that climate. Ready to try Minecraft Education in your classroom, book some time for me to do an introductory lesson for your students. (Click on the pic for the lesson idea).
