ASSESSMENT INFORMATION
Wisconsin Students in Grades 3-8 and 10 will be participating in the Forward Exam during the March 20-May 5 testing window. Wisconsin Virtual Learning is scheduled to take the Forward Exam at multiple sites around the state of Wisconsin during this testing window. The date and place for your specific testing will be sent in a later email, as we are finishing up confirming all sites around the state.
The Forward Exam is given to all public school students in Wisconsin in Grades 3-8 and Grade 10 each spring in the following areas:
- Grade 3: English Language Arts (ELA) & Mathematics
- Grade 4: English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science
- Grade 5: English Language Arts (ELA) & Mathematics
- Grade 6: English Language Arts (ELA) & Mathematics
- Grade 7: English Language Arts (ELA) & Mathematics
- Grade 8: English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science
- Grade 10: Social Studies
It is very important that your son or daughter be at the testing site on the assigned day. Students that are absent on the scheduled testing days will be scheduled for a make-up test prior to the close of the testing window.
In preparation for the upcoming Forward Exam, please take some time to go over the Online Tools Training and the Online Tutorials with your students.
These online tools and tutorials work only when using the Chrome web browser. If you do not have Chrome as your web browser, please contact the Help Desk to get this loaded on your school computer.

Parents United Program on Autism
All parents and community members are welcome to attend a free program sponsored by Parents United. Parents United is a consortium of several school districts in southeastern Wisconsin. This month’s presentation is on Autism, and is titled, “Aren’t We Already Doing Inclusion?”. Paula Kluth, Ph.D. is the guest presenter for this program to take place on Wednesday, April 26 th from 9:00am to 12:30pm at the Richard T. Anderson Education Center on the WCTC campus in Pewaukee.
