Mrs. Kramer & Mr. Bishop's classes

In honor of Super Bowl on Sunday, February 7th, the Full time Learning Support class celebrated with a cross-curricular football-themed day. The day began with a reading activity about the Super Bowl. The students were then engaged in a football-themed math activity that required them to read a series of "plays" and determine the field position of the team.

For lunch, the students shared a tailgate-style lunch amongst the company of their peers. After lunch, the students learned about teamwork and sportsmanship and responded in writing about why these are important topics. The students then completed a Super Bowl Web Quest and ended the day by playing games in the gymnasium demonstrating the qualities of teamwork and sportsmanship that they learned earlier in the day.
