CTE in ACTION
Certifications help a student build a portfolio of skills and the ability to speak to their knowledge and accomplishments. Jaxon connected the dots between school and work after getting hired at Home Depot. Jason shared, "The OSHA-10 Certification I got through Advanced Stagecraft showed that I was already familiar with basic equipment and safety equipment use that Home Depot uses on a daily basis which is a part of what led to me getting hired as an associate."
Stackable credentials open doors to jobs that provide experience and help in obtaining their future education and careers. Check out the 30 sec video Washington Roundtable released.
