9th AMENDMENT ^_^
What it says , Means, and Does for us:
SAYS: "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people."
MEANS: It's stating that there can be no other rights throughout the land aside from the other amendments and it addresses rights of the people that are not specifically in the Bill of Rights.
DOES: Helps peoples rights that are not exactly mentioned in the Bill of Rights. An example would be same sex marriage.
10th AMENDMENT =^.^=
What is says, mean, and does for us:
SAYS: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved for the States respectfully, or to the people.
The Federal Government can do anything as long as the Constitution allows them to. If it is not mentioned than it is beyond the power of The Federal Governments power. It's then given to the people and/or states.
DOES: It allows our states to make their own decisions/laws when The Federal Government can't interfere with some laws and that states have a say on some things.
