Grandparent's Night Please join us for Grandparent's Night on Thursday, November 10th from 5:30-7:00pm. You may visit the classrooms, enjoy a meal, buy raffle tickets for various baskets, or have your photo taken. Meals are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for children. Medicine Reminder
Families,
This is a friendly reminder to let the office know when sending any medication to school with your student. Medicine must be in the original packaging and accompanied by a note from the parent/guardian with dosage instructions.

Upon arrival or dismissal, please pull up to the front curb and wait for a staff member to assist your student. If coming from the parking lot, please walk your child across the parking lot. Do not cross between the buses as they may not be able to see you!
Please send a note with your child if their "go home" procedures have changed. If there is an emergency change during the day, please call the office no later than 3:00 pm.

Title 1 Funding has been made available through School Wide Title 1 Services to Paragon Elementary for the purpose of providing students with extra support in reading/language arts and math. This extra support is available for all students at Paragon Elementary. Classroom teachers, Title 1 teachers, and instructional aides provide assistance through small group and individualized instruction as children demonstrate a need for support. Please contact your teacher about services your child may receive. | Cookies & Juice The cafeteria will begin selling cookies and juice during lunchtime for 75¢ each, beginning November 1st. | Early Dismissal As weather conditions in our area can change quickly, an early dismissal may be necessary. We will make a decision concerning dismissal as early as possible, call parents through School Messenger, and communicate information to our website, social media, and local media. We encourage you as a family to develop a weather plan. For example, if parents or guardians work, where should your child go if there is an early dismissal or a two-hour delay? Please be mindful that weather prediction is just that, a prediction. We will drive roads, use science, and apply common sense before making any decisions. We hope this information is helpful as we work together planning for inclement weather events. |
