Death by Core
death by fire or ice? Looks like ice!
The Actual Freezing of Earth's Core
The inner core is the innermost part of Earth's whole core, and it's about the size of the moon. As the Earth cools from the inside out, the molten outer core is slowly freezing. This is leading the solid inner core to grow at a rate of approximately 1 millimeter per year.
The Core
This is a picture of what the core of the Earth looks like. It has multiple layers. The core is filled with magma, made from liquid iron and liquid nickel.
The Core is on Fire!!
Earth is filled with SUPER hot fluid, called Magma. When a volcano erupts it spews out the fluid.
The Cooling of the Core
Earth is said to be the next planet that's core will freeze. Causing us (the Earth) to become like Mars or the Moon. If and when the core freezes, Earth will turn into an empty, lifeless chunk of rock.
Too Cold for the Core?
This picture shows in the green that the earth's core is cooling. Soon enough the core will be in the blue.
The Earth
The inner core of the Earth is simultaneously melting and freezing due to circulation of heat in the overlying rocky mantle. Like a pan of water boiling on a stove, convection currents move warm mantle to the surface and send cool mantle back to the core.
The Post Human Earth
This could be the Earth if the Core freezes over.
Once Upon a Frozen Earth
This is just another picture of what the Earth could look like when the Core freezes.
The Earth Once it Freezes
Once the Earth's core freezes the whole planet will turn into this big rock basically, just like Mars and the moon.
Mars
Mars is the same way as the moon. The core froze and the whole planet turned into a barren rock.
The Moon
This is a picture of the Moon. The Moon's core froze and this is what the surface turned into and what the Earth might do if/when the core freezes. The moon is basically a big rock.
