STUDENT SUCCESS TIPS
While your pre-teen/teen is obsessed with enjoying every possible moment of their social life, it is important for you to keep learning and school work in the family focus.
- Have conversations about the importance of school attendance and following the school’s guidelines.
- Support your student’s prompt completion of make-up assignments.
- Make sure that you get your pre-teen/teen to school in time to get into class and be ready to work at the very beginning of the lesson.
Remember that you do not have to be able to do your child’s homework. Just let them know that you believe that it is important and that you want them to do it well.
