Happy Holidays!
Dec. 18-23, 2015
Happy Holidays to ALL!
Enjoy your holiday break...it is well deserved! I hope everyone sleeps a lot, eats whatever they want, and finds joy and happiness with your loved ones, whether you are at home or traveling! When we come back in January, we will be rocking and rolling. As with every new year, we reflect on our past and decide what we are going to resolve to do in the future! I don't make New Year's resolutions that involve eating less or exercising more, because I set myself up for failure and every year, that happens even earlier...like Jan. 2nd! However, as educators, we need to continually, reflect, renew, and readjust according to what's best for kids. That requires a growth mindset, being open to change, and focusing on data to drive our instruction. We can do this! Recharge your batteries so we can be ready to dazzle and amaze our children with our personalized learning efforts and laser-focus on their progress!
Thank you everyone for your amazing efforts with our students and everlasting patience during the holiday season. You are all the best and I could not be more thankful to have such a wonderful group of people to work with everyday!
See you in 2016!

A CODE-abration in Kelli White's class!
During the HOUR OF CODE week, not only did Kelli's class have a blast coding with experts, they made the HOUR OF CODE Website! Check out those happy faces! A great follow up lesson teaching the word ALGORITHM took place. The children learned about the importance of order in a hands on experience of folding paper airplanes! They love it!
