Sherry has been designing and selling jewellery since she was 10 years old.
Growing up in Leamington Ontario, her Mother would frequently take her, and Sister Michele, to a trading post in Point Pelee. It was there they purchased beads and trinkets to make their beloved pieces.

Marilyn has developed workshops that range from sculpting to soapstone carving, from photography to painting, from fibre arts to beadwork and everything in-between ranging from gardening to cooking, music and dance. Cancer patients as well as caregivers, family members, health care professionals and volunteers have discovered what artists have known for centuries: that the creative process is liberating to the body and uplifting to the mind and spirit.

Topsy Farms

100% pure wool blankets, bedding, sheepskin products, and unique experiences from a Canadian family farm.

Topsy Farms wool comes from a well-cared for flock of 600 breeding sheep that graze tree-shaded pastures. The sheep are raised as naturally as possible, birthing in spring following the directions of their bodies. No growth hormones are used. Our blankets are washed in natural soap, producing a softer, lanolin-rich wool that will last a lifetime.

Oliver Goldsmith Sunglasses

Big picture

Think 20th Century Icons: Grace Kelly. Peter Sellers. Michael Caine, Audrey Hepburn. Iconic style makers - Givenchy, Dior and Vidal Sassoon. They’ve all got one thing in common.

First to see glasses as fashion accessories, first to make sunspecs, first to make ‘winter sunglasses’, first to work alongside fashion houses to create one-off pieces for the catwalks, first to appear in Vogue and Queen, and first to be endorsed by celebrities and Royals.

Oliver Goldsmith pioneered a whole new concept.

Pilo Studio

OUR STORY

p i ‘ l o was started 25(!) years ago and is the creative child of heather shaw. Started while at art school, it has evolved over the years as heather’s life has, but is still as much of a passion as it was when it first started. The downtown warehouse studio was traded in 15 years ago for an old backyard studio behind her house in downtown Toronto that once housed a sausage factory. It is a very calm and soothing space with lots of natural light and plenty of inspiration. There are always amazing women who help with production and we like to think of it as a little sanctuary form the rest of the world.

Triumph & Disaster

Triumph & Disaster's philosophy is to use the best of science combined with the best of nature to produce naturally derived but scientifically engineered products that work. We use local indigenous ingredients such as Horopito oil and Ponga fern extract blended with scientifically proven and natural ingredients from around the globe, such as clay from Australia, Jojoba extract from Mexico and Tamanu oil from Polynesia.

Finally we believe that the future of sustainable business is a path of integrity and honesty (great marketing and a rocking distribution system may also help) and that customers deserve at least this much from the brands they support.

18 Waits

18 Waits is a common ground for like-minded individuals. It is a lifestyle as opposed to simply a brand or fashion label. It’s a way of life inspired by a joie de vivre and an appreciation of the finer things in life like an old pair of leather boots or a child’s painting. 18 Waits has an old European mentality which, at the same time, takes inspiration in nature and the natural flow of the earth. It is a lifestyle which adheres just as much to Parisian cafés as it does to old English pubs, 1920s New York speakeasies, wood cabins by the lake, old upright pianos, poetry, literature, and 1970s rock and roll music.
