Going Above and Beyond
A few weeks ago, a handful of our teachers were recognized in a staff meeting for going above and beyond by securing Cash 4 Conejo grants to fund special projects in their classrooms. In my short time as Principal of Wildwood Elementary, I've observed that "Going Above and Beyond" is the norm for our staff, our PTA, and our entire school community.
Recently, I've received several emails from parents who are recognizing these extraordinary efforts and taking the time to communicate their appreciation. Please know that these messages MAKE OUR DAY! In the days leading up to Thanksgiving break, I encourage you to share your gratitude and appreciation with members of our school community that are making a difference in your students' lives.
"Showing gratitude is one of the simplest yet most powerful things we can do for each other." ~ Randy Pausch
Warmly,
Mr. Lynch

Front Door Security Complete
Just this past week, a buzz-in system was installed to control the front door entrance of our school. This system manages the locking system on the front doors through a 1-way camera and 2-way speaker system controlled by office staff. The front doors are the only access point to the campus during school hours, so when you arrive, please press the button located on the bottom of the device that is affixed to the front doors and we will buzz you in.
Communication Protocols
From time to time, individuals or groups in the community will distribute information and advertisements to parents/guardians on the public sidewalks during school arrival or dismissal. This information is not affiliated or endorsed by Wildwood Elementary and CVUSD.
Any approved communications (i.e. announcements, fliers) from Wildwood Elementary and CVUSD will be provided directly from the school to you via email, or given to your students to take home.
If you ever are unsure whether or not materials are from Wildwood Elementary and CVUSD, please do not hesitate to contact the front office at 805-492-3531.

Health and Safety
It is important that all positive cases of COVID-19 are reported to the health office. If your student tests positive for COVID-19, we need to know in order to ensure we are supporting your student through their recovery. The health and safety of our student body and staff is a top priority. If you have any questions or concerns related to COVID-19, please reach out to our office.
