Google Play is a service made for android devices and computers. With Google Play you can download millions of apps and games, all of your favorite music, movies, TV shows, surf the largest eBook store and you can even flip through your favorite magazines. Google Play has it all. It allows you to easily manage all of the products that you purchase within a certain limit of devices. Google Play is ran by it's own service and can be used through web browser. It has a smooth design and is easy to access. All of the apps in Google Play has been sorted into 27 categories. They categorize there apps in six different ways with top paid, top free, top grossing, top new paid, top new free, and also trending list. That is one way to search for things in Google Play to make finding your products easier but if you already know what you are looking for, you can search it right in the search box giving you easy access.

iTunes is a media software created by Apple. iTunes is great for organizing the products you buy from music, movies, TV shows, books and apps. You can use iTunes on a Mac or Windows computer, making it universal for both systems. Although you can use iTunes on a Windows computer, for mobile use, iTunes is only available to be used on Apple products; such as: iPhone, iPod, iPad and Apple TV. You cannot have an iTunes account or app store on an Android device. Apple has the app store which is also available for mobile devices. When it is on your computer the app store is within iTunes. iTunes is very outranging with their work. The media software has now advanced to wireless streaming and an actual iTunes radio. ITunes is good with making everything easy access to their customers.

The Difference

Apple owns 18 percent of the app world, banking about 500 percent more than Google pulling in $5.1 million every day. Google on the other hand owns 75 percent of the app world but only receives $1.1 million a day.


Google has a better search engine on Google Play. If you misspelled something it still has a better chance of showing up and finding your search than the app store does. With Google Play 26 percent of their apps are of games while only 14 percent of games is within the app store.


One thing that Apple and Google have in common is that they both run their own app store in the number of downloaded apps.


Google Play has a price of $200 for its highest priced app while Apple has $999 for theirs. For Apple's top 100 apps they have listed in 7 different price points as Google has there top 100 apps listed in 29 different price points.


Fun Fact: 67 percent of people say that they prefer Google Play over iTunes and 33 percent say they no, they prefer Apple.
