I'm First: Small Group for First Generation College Go-ers

A new program we are starting this year is small group counseling for students who would be first generation college-goers! We will meet quarterly. If you child falls into this category, return the slips provided at Parent Night. If you need a new slip, let us know.

We are looking to pair each participant with a "first gen" adult in our community to exchange 2 letters a year. If you would like to volunteer for this, please let us know by completing the following form.

New to Farragut Schools?

Two programs that are helpful to new students ...

Buddy Benches: We have a Buddy Bench located on each of our three playgrounds. Students can use the bench to help find classmates to play with during recess.

Meet and Greet : All students who are new to FIS (& did not come from FPS) met for a special session to meet the counselors and administrators. During the session they got an opportunity to share about their transition to a new school and receive a special gift!
