DF Model UN
On February 1, DF MUN Club hosted the first Midlands MUN Conference. There were 47 student delegates representing the LEXRICH5 district and Richland NE.
Special recognition to the following award-winning delegates :
Carlos Sanchez of Poland, Halee Lott of France, and Joshua Dean of China debated in Security Council
George Rogers of France & Logan Harris of China debated in EcoSoc
Honorable mentions:
Kimyana Brown of Kenya, Sabrina Santos of Thailand and Pooja of Germany.
Parliamentary debate was a very fun and exciting event. A resolution was passed on an emergency chemical spill in the General Assembly. It takes a lot of research, writing resolutions, speeches and confidence building to debate in parliamentary style. We are so proud of the hard work and dedication to this process of all our club members.
