Test Security Video
Below is information on the annual MCPS Test Security Video. After completing the video, it will ask you to complete a non-disclosure form. If possible, please print your form and return it to me when we are in the building. If you do not have access to a printer, please take a photo of your form. Our first state-wide testing is scheduled for January; however, you may want to check this off your list on the 4th. At the end of the module, it may ask you to complete an evaluation. There is no evaluation. Once you have completed the Non-Disclosure form, you are done.
Annual Test Security Training Module
- The yearly Test Security Training Module that all staff involved with State testing must view, has been centrally published to your school course. Bethesda ES Schoolwide Courses
- This training module provides an overview of the procedures involved in providing a successful testing environment that supports student achievement and workforce excellence. The training addresses test security policy, staff roles in testing, handling secure materials, providing accommodations and reporting and resolving testing incidents. Completion of this training ensures all MCPS staff members involved with testing receive a consistent message about test security.
- The training module does not need to be completed prior to MAP testing. KRA and EMCAP (Grades 4 & 5 are in September)
- Test Security Training module should be completed as close as possible to your participation in an administration of a state assessment.
- The online training module must be completed once per year.
- Once you complete the training, they will turn in a signed Test Administration and Certification of Training Form and Non-Disclosure Agreement form to the STC. Karen will have a folder in my mailbox.
