Spring/Eggs Theme

This week we will begin a "Spring/Eggs" Theme! We will make spring art projects and we are hoping that March will go out like a lamb.. We will be playing an Egg Counting math game. We will also be making a "Lamb Face" cooking project on Thursday. Watch later in the week for some fun spring break "homework"!

Jolly Phonics

Our Jolly Phonics letter of the week is "V". The action for the letter "V" sound is to pretend to be driving along in a van and say VVVVvvvvvvv. Watch the video below to see the letter "V" video.

Star of the Week A.M.

Isaiah did a fantastic job as "Star of the Week" last week! He showed us his batman toys and did a great job explaining his poster. Thank you to Isaiah's mom and grandma for coming to class and preparing and making an "I'm Lucky" Shamrock art project with us. What a cool idea for a class project! Next week's "Star of the Week" for the A.M. class is Sam!

Star of the Week P.M.

Cole did a great job as "Star of the Week" last week! He showed us his neat dinosaur and monster trucks toys and did a super job showing his poster. Thank you to Cole's mom for coming to class to show Cole's dog. Also, how neat that Cole was able to talk about horses and show us many different "horse" items like a saddle, bridle, and brushes. Next week's "Star of the week" in the P.M. class is Joey!

*Thank you to parents who attended conferences last week. I look forward to meeting with more of you this week Tuesday! If you have any further questions or would like to schedule a different time to further discuss your child's progress, don't hesitate to contact me.

*Next week (March 25th-29th) is Spring Break! I hope you have a fun and relaxing break with your families. I will be sending out some environmental print "homework" this Friday.

* The week we come back we will be celebrating the 100th day of school. Students have been diligently counting each day and are anticipating this fun day. We will be sending home 100th day collection baggies. Please help your child find 100 of something to make a collection to share on 100th day.
