Our Girls on the Run participated in the Merry Fitness 5K on Saturday, they did a great job. Thank you to Mrs. Callahan, Ms. Duff, and Mrs. McBride for coaching the girls. Second graders decorated gingerbread houses to enter in the Gingerbread Festival and Competition in Morehead this weekend. Thanks to all the parents who came out to help create these masterpieces!
Congratulations to Isabella Ulrich, Annie Fahy, Avyan Parikh, Maccoy Day for being selected to represent Carteret County Schools in Raleigh at the NCDPI Hour of Code Student Expo last Wednesday. They shared all about the Bitsbox coding app, Mrs. Combs led the team.
This week our choir will host a holiday concert on Monday night in the cafeteria and second grade will perform "A Bugz Christmas Musical" at a nursing home in Morehead City. Our Santa Shop opens on Wednesday.
We are continuing to collect items for the 12 Days of Giving, we've collected 1280 items so far. We hope to reach 2000 items by the end of the week.
Looking ahead, our Holiday Spirit Week will be December 19-22. Please see our flyer below for all of the details.
