Pre-k Post
October 2019
Welcome!
It's been wonderful getting to know all of your children. They have been doing a great job settling in to our routines and learning to follow the class/school rules. Thank you to everyone who was able to come out to orientation and/or back to school night!
Ashland Berry Farm Pumpkin Patch Trip
We are excited to take our first field trip of the year on the 25th of October. Remember, this a trip where all parents can go and we really encourage every child to have a chaperone. They will need help carrying their pumpkins! If you have not sent in the permission slip, please do so as soon as possible.
Trees
Our next unit of study in preschool will be all about trees. This will take place over the course of about 6 weeks. We will use the subject of trees to teach a variety of skills. We will also begin introducing and focusing on a new letter each week. We will keep you informed as to where we are with letter introduction so that you can reinforce these skills at home (we do not teach the letters in alphabetical order).
