Hip Hip HOORAY!
Clever Elementary students will officially be 100 DAYS smarter on Monday! Students may participate in the 100th Day Celebration by dressing up as a 100 year old, or if you are feeling crafty, they can wear a school appropriate article of clothing that represents 100 days. There are tons of ideas on Pinterest.
In conjunction with our 100th Day Celebration, each class has been collecting 100 quarters to donate to our neighboring district Marionville. As you may or may not know, a Kindergarten classroom was destroyed by a fire a couple of weeks ago. We will be cashing in the quarters and purchasing a gift card to IPA to donate to the Kindergarten classroom. Monday will be the last day to send them in. I can't wait to see how many we collect.
We are Family
I invite every student to send a family picture in for our school family bulletin board. If possible please keep it to 5 x 7 or smaller so we can fit everyone's family picture on our board. You can send them in anytime.
Mark your calendars!

Kindergarten students did a "Blubber" experiment today as part of their arctic animals unit. They talked about the purpose and importance of blubber. They discovered that their hand was protected and kept warm by the "blubber" when they stuck it in the ice water.
