REMINDER NOVEMBER SPECIAL RUNS FROM NOV 1st - 24th. With every $35 spent in November, Customers can choose from the NEW Soft Utility Tote for $20 or the popular Zipper Pouch for just $5.

November Hostess Special

REMINDER NOVEMBER SPECIAL RUNS FROM NOV 1st - 24th. Hostesses can save over 70 percent on the Entertaining Bundle, which includes the Perfect Party Set, the Picnic Thermal and the Perfect Bottle Thermal. Together they have a $113 value, but she’ll get all three for just $35 when she hosts a $200+ party. Each style keeps food and drinks at just the right temperature for those holiday parties – and all three can be personalized for free!

Looking ahead to December

The products featured in this month’s Hostess and Customer Specials make wonderful gifts! Remind your Hostesses and Customers that these specials are available from Nov. 25 to Dec. 29. However if they want to guarantee they are here in time for Christmas then they need to place their order by December 10th.

This month, Hostesses can earn the Cindy Tote for just $25 with a party of $200 or more. This tote has a classic silhouette that’s been updated for Fall 2015 with a sturdier shape and upgraded handles.

She can be the first to carry this tote in the Graphic Weave fabric, new for Spring/Summer 2016. Plus, she can add free personalization with a new large monogram, also coming to the Catalog this spring.

With every $35 spent Nov. 25 to Dec. 29, Customers can earn up to three giftables at amazing prices. She can mix and match any combination of five styles: Mini Zipper Pouch, Littles Carry-All Caddy, Stand Tall Insert, Canvas Crew Carry-All and Street Style.

This special also features some new holiday styles, including the Icon Littles Carry-All Caddies and our Mini Zipper Pouch in the new Swirl Dot print.

Inventory Management Update

We are going to move the management of inventory more to the front-end of our process through a “Low Inventory to Stop-Sell/Discontinued” strategy. Regular Catalog items could also be placed on Stop Sell during the season rather than Backorder depending on the timing of a new inventory shipment of that particular product. As always, an item will first appear on Low Inventory within the Business Update on TOT, but we will tell you what the next step will be for that particular product - either:

  • Stop Sell
  • Discontinued
  • Backorder


The use of the term, Backorder, will be significantly reduced. On occasion, an item will move to Backorder when we have an inventory shipment arriving within 2 weeks that can cover all demand.


Our Specials and Exclusives will be labeled “Promotional While Supplies Last” and we will purchase and reserve a dedicated amount of inventory for these items. When a Special or Exclusive performs better than planned and inventory reaches a certain quantity remaining, we will place that item on Low Inventory (this is no change from what we do today). Once that Special or Exclusive inventory level is depleted, we will place that item either on Stop Sell or Discontinued. At times, an item on Speicial will be placed on Stop Sell, but will return a few weeks later at regular price. If an Exclusive item should out-perform expectation, we will move that item to Discontinued when inventory is depleted

Our goal is to always develop the best plan possible so we do not anticipate consistently running out of Specials.


The Business Update on TOT will have enhancements to help you understand what the next step is for an item that is on Low Inventory or Stop Sell. We will keep you up-to-date on when to expect this enhancement.

You will need to use the Business Update daily to understand which of our Special, Exclusive or Catalog items (if any) move to:

  • Low Inventory
  • Stop Sell
  • Discontinued
  • Backorder

Always ask your Customer for a backup choice at the party if an item is on Low Inventory as this will reduce surprise and disappointment. Push to close the party early if you want to protect Customer selections!

We’ll demonstrate the many uses of new products so you’ll be able to share that knowledge at your parties, plus you’ll get to hear updates from Cindy, Scott, other Home Office executives and some of our top-performing leaders!
