Cardinal Family Newsletter
It's A Great Day to Be a Cardinal!
March 30
Dear FFMS Students, Parents and Guardians:
I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe and were able to find a way to enjoy spring break and some of the nicer weather we had. Teachers will be updating their lesson, and I know they are so excited to have the opportunity to interact with their students through a distance learning education plan.Teachers will be reaching out to let students/parents know when they will be available if anyone has any questions. Please feel free to email teachers with questions or concerns.
I understand many parents and guardians have a variety of responsibilities and every family will adjust to distance learning in their own way. This is an incredibly difficult time, and facilitating learning at home is a challenge that even our own teachers and staff face as they attend to their school responsibilities while watching their own children. While there is no simple answer to this, our advice is to do your best to create a structured, consistent schedule that works for your family. Below is a sample daily schedule.
I have included some TLC Character Strength Activities for you and your child to do at home this week. Check them out and try to do them throughout the week. We have worked hard at the middle school to focus on the students' character traits and to learn how to tap into some of the traits they may not use more frequently. Now more than ever, it is important that we use these traits to get us through this difficult time.
Please reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns or something I can help you with. I want to help any way I can.
Thank you and have a great week!

Please make sure your child gets in the habit of charging their chrome books each evening. It is important that they come to school prepared and the chrome books are as important to class as bringing paper and pencils. They will need their computers to fully participate in instruction in most classes.
