Argyle ISD Spring Break March 8-12!
Virtual Day Friday for Eagles
Argyle ISD Mask Requirement Remains In Place, Following TEA Guidance
Argyle ISD has received guidance from the Texas Education Agency in response to Governor Abbott lifting the mask mandate.
The district will continue to follow TEA's requirements that remain in place for all students, teachers and staff to wear a mask when inside a school building, school facility or facility used for school activities. Students in Pre-K through 3rd Grade are not required to wear a mask.
The health and safety of our students, teachers and staff is our highest priority. We believe by continuing to wear masks it will allow us to remain successful in providing in-person learning at our campuses for the final 10 weeks of the school year. Our teachers and staff have been on the frontlines since August and we are excited they have now been prioritized for the COVID-19 vaccine.
We are grateful for our parents and community partnering with us as we strive to finish the school year Argyle Strong!
Wow! Great Honor for Remedy A Cappella
The song "GIRL" was from Remedy's latest release Waves and features junior Kimmy Giese on the solo and can be streamed on all music platforms. This nomination and award process is the equivalent of the A Cappella Genre of the Music Grammys -- which means these AHS students were nominated alongside college, semi-professional and world-wide professional groups for this award. Congratulations to Remedy and director Will Griswold!
School Employees Now Eligible for COVID-19 Vaccine
School employees in pre-primary education, primary education, secondary education, Head Start and Early Head Start programs and licensed child care providers are included in the expanded eligibility.
"This is outstanding news for our teachers and staff in Argyle ISD and we are grateful they are being prioritized," Argyle ISD Superintendent Dr. Telena Wright said. "Our teachers and staff have been on the frontlines of the pandemic since August doing an amazing job serving our students and this vaccine opportunity will be reassuring for them."

AMS & Hilltop Scheduled To Re-Open March 15
Due to the extent of work needed to repair the water damage throughout both campuses, AMS and Hilltop will remain closed through spring break. In order to ensure both of these campuses are safe for students to return, extensive work must be completed to remove water damage to the floors and walls in the classrooms and hallways.
The campuses are scheduled to re-open for students on Monday, March 15, following spring break. Argyle ISD thanks you for your patience, understanding and yet again adapting to change during this school year!
