ESSENTIAL THOUGHT

If kids come to us from strong, healthy functioning families, it makes our job easier. If they do not come to us from strong, healthy, functioning families, it makes our job more important.

UPCOMING EVENTS AND REMINDERS

Jan. 28th and 29th: Exam Days/Early Release

Congrats and Kudos!

  • Kelly Sanborn for receiving a $2,500 Grant from Lowe's to support the Natural Habitat/outdoor classroom.

  • Bryan Moody for being asked to be a presenter at a conference for Student Council Leaders. They heard about his High Five for Ram Pride Campaign and he was asked to present.

Reminders: Please and Thank You!

  • If you are leaving your classroom to go to another place in the school please let the office know. This is important for the office to be able to find students. It is also important for school safety reasons. We need to be able to locate staff and students quickly.

  • When filling out conference forms please attach the confirmation sheet for the conference to the request form.

  • Computer Labs: I have noticed when setting up the labs for STAR testing last Monday that the labs were a little messy. Papers, wrappers, pencils etc. were on the floors. Chairs were not placed back in their spots. Take time by ending your class in the lab (and your classroom) to ask students to pick up papers, pencils, etc and push in chairs. Help them take ownership and care of our school.

Red Pants Night Varsity Basketball Game This Friday, January 22nd
