Parthenon
The Parthenon was a temple, that held inside a statue of the goddess Athena. It is so important to the Greek's because it got them closer to the gods and it dedicated the defeat of the Persians. The temple was to shelter the monument statue of Athena.
Inside the Parthenon
The Persians built a 38 feet tall statue of the Athena Greek Goddess. This statue was built inside the Parthenon a 23,00-square-foot building. This statue was made of gold and ivory.
Athena
Athena was known as the Goddess of Wisdom. Legends say she was born with full armor and from the head of Zeus.
